The oscillation interval of the pendulum can be adjusted, so the interval at each reference point is the same or almost the same.
The pendulum pivot point is in the form of a hard steel blade, and the pendulum position can be changed as needed. The pendulum comes with 2 weights, one of which works as a weight in a fixed position and the other can be moved along the pendulum rod.
In the experiment, the fixation position of the pendulum remains unchanged, while the weight can be moved to obtain the same or almost the same oscillation interval at both pivot points.
You can measure time manually using a stopwatch or use a time counter system consisting of a photo shutter and a timer counter for greater accuracy.
