Software
It is a virtual 2D graphical process simulation program with numerous illustrative examples for PLC training.
The functional behavior of the plant process equipment is replaced by emulated models of the technological process on the PC.
The exchange of control signals between the PC and the actual PLC (any PLC can be used) is done via the Portbridge interface.
This means that the working environment of the PLC is identical to a real industrial plant connected via such an interface.
The software is equipped with an extensive library of interesting process models to simulate the functional behavior of real processes in the plant.
Students have the ability to operate the actuators manually. This allows students to understand the process-oriented model, which is fundamental and important to creating a management sequence. Practice models are documented and meet a wide range of requirements.
Portbridge interface
The PortBridge interface is used for bidirectional transmission of process signals between the actual control process (24 V DC system) and the PC.
Communication between the PortBridge interface and the PC is via the RS232 serial interface. This communication line is electrically isolated to protect the PC from the possibility of damage. The PortBridge interface connects to a real PLC using 4 mm connectors. The input and output signals can be read by the PC.
All input and output terminals of the digital function are equipped with LED indicators to show the current status of the input or output signals.
It has two analog outputs and one analog input.
